Gingerbread House Baking

I have a gingerbread house mold and have made many gingerbread houses with nieces or grandchildren over the years.  Well, this year I cheated and bought a kit at Sam's.  It was very inexpensive and I have to say, worth the time it saved me.  Of course, my house didn't smell like gingerbread, so I burned candles...almost as good!

I wish I was comfortable uploading pictures of my precious granddaughters and niece.  They looked adorable in their aprons...anyway, here is the final product of our work!  Messy, but fun!

Very pretty! They did a great job. Know what you mean about the pictures. I have only posted 4 or 5 pictures and deleted them pretty quick. Probably be a while before I do it again.

I love your house!! I usually do a gingerbread house too but am not too sure about this year. Maybe if we get snowed in this week like the weatherman is promising :)

Blessings!
Gail

BTW...I have a couple gingerbread house molds too (from Longaberger). They look so cute hung on the wall (I use a large plate hanger).

I did the same thing last week - I purchased a house already made and the grands decorated it. I must say, your's it very nice. I like your collection of nutcrackers. The ceramic houses are so cute. Those little cupcake people made me smile.
